조달청-ADB 최초, 아태지역 고위급 초청 정책워크숍 개최

 - 혁신조달, 전자조달 등 K-조달제도 아태지역 전수…한국의 공공조달 리더십 강화

 - 조달의 날과 연계하여 혁신제품 소개로 우리기업 수출 저변 확대

 조달청(청장 임기근)은 9월 25일부터 9월 27일까지 서울 오라카이 호텔과  서울 서초구 aT센터에서 역대 최초로 아시아·태평양 지역(아·태지역) 고위급 정책입안자를 대상으로 '한국형 조달제도 및 전자조달 노하우 공유 워크숍'을 개최한다. 

 이번 행사는 조달청이 아시아개발은행(ADB)과 협업하여 수행하는 국제개발협력사업(ODA)의 일환으로 진행되며 우즈베키스탄 굴노라 락시모바(Gulnora Raximova) 경제재정부 차관을 비롯한 아·태지역 14개 국가에서 24명의 고위급 인사가 참석하여 한국의 선진적인 공공조달 인프라를 배운다.

 워크숍에서는 한국의 전반적인 디지털 정부 추진 전략부터 공공조달 분야의 주요 정책 및 전자조달시스템 운영 노하우까지 폭넓은 주제를 다뤄, 참가국들의 K-조달제도에 대한 이해를 높인다.

 특히, 이번 행사는 제4회 <조달의 날> 행사와 연계 개최하여 아·태지역 고위급 공공조달 책임자에게 한국의 우수한 혁신기업을 소개한다. 이를 계기로 참가국들의 혁신조달에 대한 이해와 한국 혁신기업에 대한 인지도를 높여, 혁신기업들의 수출 저변을 확대한다.

 임기근 청장은 "이번 행사는 한국의 조달제도와 전자조달 시스템 운영 노하우를 아·태지역 고위 정책담당자에게 전수하는 최초의 자리로, 역내 한국의 글로벌 공공조달 리더십을 강화하는 중요한 의미가 있다"면서, 

"앞으로도 ADB 및 아태지역 국가들과의 협력을 강화하여 역내 공공조달 인프라의 선진화를 견인하는 동시에, 우리 조달 기업들의 수출 기회를 확대해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.

PPS and ADB Host a First-ever High-level Policy Workshop for the APAC Region

- Expanding Korea's public procurement systems including Innovation Procurement and e-Procurement, taking the lead in the field  

- Introducing government-designated innovative products in conjunction with the event for the nation's Public Procurement Day  

The Public Procurement Service(PPS) of Korea and the Asian Development Bank(ADB) will host a workshop on Korea's government procurement systems and its e-procurement for high-level officials from the Asia-Pacific region from September 25 to 27. The event will take place at the Orakai Hotel in Seoul and the aT Center in Seocho, Seoul. This marks the first time such a workshop is being held for policymakers across the APAC region.

This occasion is part of the ODA project for international development cooperation that PPS is carrying out in collaboration with ADB. 24 high-level officials from 14 countries including Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Finance Gulnora Rakhimova will participate to learn from Korea's public procurement infrastructure.

The workshop will cover a wide range of topics, from Korea's overall digital government strategies to key policies in public procurement and operational know-how of its e-procurement system, enhancing the participants' understanding of the nation's government procurement systems.

In particular, the workshop will coincide with the 4th annual "Public Procurement Day" event, giving APAC procurement leaders a chance to learn about Korea's leading innovative companies. This is expected to boost their understanding of the nation's Innovation Procurement initiative and increase awareness of Korea's inventive businesses. 

PPS Administrator Lim Ki-keun emphasized, "This is the first event of its kind to share Korea's government procurement systems and e-procurement expertise with high-level policymakers from the APAC region. It's a key step in solidifying the country's leadership in global public procurement within the region."

He added, "We will continue to strengthen cooperation with ADB and  APAC countries to advance the region's public procurement infrastructure."
