[문화재청](국영문 동시 배포) 유네스코아태무형유산센터, 국제 비즈니스 대상(IBA) 금상

  문화재청(청장 정재숙)의 후원을 받는 유네스코아태무형유산센터(사무총장 금기형, 이하 센터)의 소식지인 ‘아태무형문화유산꾸리에’(ICH Courier)가 제17회 ‘국제 비즈니스 대상’(International Business Awards, 이하 IBA) 출판 부문에서 금상을 수상했다.


  ‘아태무형문화유산꾸리에’는 분기별로 발행되는 센터의 계간지로서 아태지역의 무형유산 정보를 전달하는 중요 소식지로 자리매김해왔다. 센터는 ‘아태무형문화유산꾸리에’를 통해 무형유산 관련 최신 담론을 소개하고 있으며, 동시에 아태지역의 다양한 국가와 지역에서 전승되고 있는 무형유산 종목을 소개하고 공동체의 무형유산 전승 현황, 관계 기관들의 무형유산 보호를 위한 노력과 사업성과 등을 조명한다.


  올해로 발행 11주년을 맞이하는 ‘아태무형문화유산꾸리에’는 현재 무형유산 종사자와 일반 대중 등 다양한 구독자 층을 보유하고 있으며, 137개 국가의 1000여 개의 무형유산 및 문화 관련 기관에 무료로 배포하고 있다. 구독을 원하는 분들은 누리집(https://ichcourier.unesco-ichcap.org/)에서 신청하면 된다.


  아태센터는 이번 수상을 계기로 앞으로도 아태지역의 무형유산 소식을 널리 전달해 무형유산의 가시성을 높일 수 있도록 꾸준히 노력할 계획이다.


  비즈니스 분야의 오스카상으로 불리는 IBA는 미국의 스티비 어워즈사가 주최하는 국제대회로 올해 17회째를 맞이하며, 기업의 한해 사업활동과 결과물을 경영, 홍보, 출판 등의 13개 부문으로 나누어 평가한다. 올해는 60여 개국 3,800여 편이 출품돼 경합을 펼쳤으며, 250여 명의 전문가들이 심사위원으로 참가했다.


ICH Courier Honored as Gold Winner in International Business Awards 2020





ICH Courier, a quarterly magazine of UNESCO ICHCAP (Director-General Gi Hyung Keum), won the gold prize in the publication section at the 17th International Business Awards (IBA).

ICH Courier is issued to deliver ICH news and information of the Asia-Pacific region and has been authorized as a valued media for ICH news and information. Through the ICH Courier, the center introduces not only the latest discourses on ICH but also ICH elements that have been transmitted in various countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific.

This quarterly magazine, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, currently has over 2,500 subscribers, and is distributed free of charge to 800 cultural organizations in 137 countries.

Taking the opportunity to win the award, ICHCAP will continue to make efforts to raise awareness of ICH by introducing and distributing latest ICH related news in the Asia-Pacific region.

The IBA, renowned as the Oscars in the business field, marks its 17th year this year, and evaluates companies’ annual business by category. This year, 3,800 cases from 60 countries were submitted for competition, and more than 250 experts of 13 categories from around the world participated as judges. ICHCAP celebrates this meaningful winning since it was the first submission for the IBA awards.
