George Winston - December

Recorded in the autumn of 1982 at Different Fur in San Francisco, December is a collection of winter tone poems defining Winston's distinct "Rural Folk Piano" sound. Inspired by the freezing seasons of his youth in Miles City, Montana, and the stark beauty of the winter solstice, the album travels from the warmth of "Thanksgiving" to the majestic stillness of "Peace."
