Janes prioritizes innovation to support evolving customer requirements

The trusted global agency for open-source defense intelligence today announced the next phase in its evolution of product management and innovation excellence to drive enhanced decision support solutions. 

WASHINGTON DC (February 20, 2024) – Janes, the OSINT agency – today announced key management changes to provide even greater focus on product innovation to continue to support Janes customers’ evolving intelligence requirements. Ben Conklin will transition to the new role of Head of New Products and Innovation and will be responsible for spearheading Janes innovation program to ensure Janes remains at the leading edge of delivering foundational military intelligence solutions to customers.

As a result of Conklin’s new role, Janes is also announcing the appointment of Maria Cornett Bertram as Chief Product Officer. Cornett Bertram will be responsible for all aspects of product management at Janes.

Cornett Bertram, has had a long career as a Chief Product Officer and Business Line leader in data, SaaS, and information businesses. Prior to joining Janes, Cornett Bertram led the Technology, Media & Telecommunications business line at S&P Global Market Intelligence, where she created organizational design, developed product roadmaps, and launched data and research products focused on fintech, metaverse and supply chain technology.
