Water Arrives. Russian Strike Destroyed Key Section Of Ukraine’s E-50 …
On the afternoon of May 25, 2023, the Russian air force successfully hit a bridge and a dam of the local reservoir in the immediate rear of the Ukrainian army.
Several settlements were under the threat of waterlogging. The crossing of the water barrier for the AFU military equipment was also complicated in the area from 20 to 30 kilometers from the point of bridge destruction.
“This is Karlovka. We were guarding this bridge, which was mined by the AFU (and this was done on the eve of the AFU offensive!). A rocket hit the bridge. Everyone was alive, but everything was destroyed. There used to be about 15 centimeters of water here…, the floodgates, all the other river structures. It seems to me that the Karlovskoye reservoir will cease to exist in about an hour. Everyone is alive, Thank God. Four tons of explosives (set by AFU themselves) exploded!”
“It’s too bad. The water’s running. Everything is ruined.”
Thus, it turns out that the bridge and the dam were blown up not so much as a result of a Russian missile strike, but because the Ukrainians themselves mined the bridge in their immediate rear areas.
Why did the Ukrainians mine the bridge ahead of their offensive? Why didn’t the Russians blow it up earlier? This war is becoming both the bloodiest in recent human history and the stupidest.
