London (27 March) – Janes - the trusted global agency for open-source defence intelligence - today announced the appointment of Leendert Van Bochoven as Chief Commercial Officer of International markets. Van Bochoven will be responsible for driving Janes commercial success and executing a comprehensive growth strategy focused on markets outside of the United States.

Van Bochoven has over 25 years' experience working with global government clients in defence and intelligence and has enjoyed an extensive career in consulting, services, and technology leadership roles, most recently with IBM as Global Director for National Security. Van Bochoven also serves on the Executive Committee of the AFCEA International Board of Directors.
