Defeated On The Frontlines, Kiev Resumes Sabotage Attacks In Russia
While the Armed Forces of Ukraine are defeated on the frontlines, Ukrainian sabotage groups resumed attacks on the Russian territory.
On the morning of August 16, a group of Ukrainian saboteurs tried to enter the Russian territory in the border Bryansk region. The attack was thwarted by Russian forces. As a result, five of the six Ukrainian saboteurs were killed, according to the Russian officials.
“Thanks to the coordinated joint actions of the units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the border department of the FSB (Federal Security Service) of Russia in the Bryansk region, an attempt to break into the territory of the Bryansk region by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group of six militants was stopped today at 7.00,” the local governor reported.
Another attempt to break through the Russian border took place the day before. On August 15, a larger group of Ukrainian saboteurs attempted attack in the Bryansk region.
The FSB confirmed the destruction of the group of 15 Ukrainian saboteurs in the Starodubsky district of the Bryansk region. Four saboteurs were killed and their bodies were abandoned on the Russian territory.
During the attack, Ukrainian servicemen used small FPV drones marked “Property of the FSB of Russia” with Russian symbols. Moreover, foreign weapons, explosive devices, communication and navigation devices were found in the area of the battle.
According to unofficial reports, the shooting took place in the area of Kurkovichi and Lomakovka after Russian border guards discovered Ukrainian backpacks a kilometer from the border. One Russian servicemen was wounded and later died of his wounds. At the same time, the AFU opened artillery fire on the village of Kurkovichi, as a result of which two people were wounded.
The village of Kurkovichi is located 2 km from the border with the Chernihiv region of Ukraine.
The Kiev regime is always launching sabotage attacks in Russia in an attempt to hide its losses on the frontlines. Such attacks have no military goals and do not effect the situation on the battlefield.
